Description Walker LaRon 2009-12-02 17:35:08 UTC
Squeezebox Server 7.4.1 & 7.5.0
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Built in Firewalls

In Windows Built in firewalls, if you have the following options checked:

"Don't allow exceptions" box checked (XP)
or
"Block All Incoming Connections" (Vista)

The diagnostics tab in the SB Server Control Panel still states "OK" for all ports, but will not let you enter mysb.com account credentials.

It gives a "Invalid Username/Password" error

If you you uncheck these options (either XP or Vista), it will allow you to enter the mysb.com credentials.

I was able to reproduce this here myself at will.

**NOTE**
Sometimes you can go to the WEB UI > Settings > Mysqueezebox.com tab and enter the credentials, even with these options checked, and it accepts the credentials *****

Thanks,

LaRon

Diagnostics tests _outgoing_ connections which aren't covered by the two options you mention.

There is some problem validating the mail/password, but obviously it's not firewall related in your case.
