Using the Touch UI, I can't set an alarm for a time in the afternoon.

The alarm time entry UI page is in 12hr (with AM/PM) mode.  If I select "9", "50", "PM" and touch "Done", then the Alarm time is reported in 24hr clock format as "09:50", which is 9:50 AM.  If I go back into Set Time, this confirms that AM was chosen instead of PM.

This bug has been marked fixed in a released version of Squeezebox Server or the accompanying firmware or mysqueezebox.com release.
