One thing you could do if you're looking to reduce the firmware size is delete 
all the zoneinfo files that will never be used.  SN and the timezone settings 
menu only have about 75 possible timezones, the rest could be removed and save 
a bit of space.  zoneinfo is 3M uncompressed and contains hundreds of timezones.
