Bugzilla – Bug 15130
Scrobbling issue in Last.fm certification -
Last modified: 2012-02-27 17:33:30 UTC
Bug from Last.fm - **************************************************************************** We have identified 1 fault which is significant: On the “scrobble to this account” screen you click the username to scobble to to activate scrobbling, but when you exit and re-enter that same menu it’s gone back to “Do not scrobble”. The result is that the device, or at least the software version we have, is not scrobbling.
making sure partner bugs have the partner_important keyword
Reported by CAT PR2-0042
Which UI, ip3k or SP? Would be nice if partners filed their own bugs...
I can't reproduce this. I can enable/disable scrobbling on Touch just fine. Ben and/or QA, can you try it out?
== Auto-comment from SVN commit #30149 to the repo by bklaas == == https://svn.slimdevices.com/?view=revision&revision=30149 == Bug: 15130 Description: fix logical error on putting selected treatment on "Do not scrobble" item note that this is not a direct fix for what's described in bug 15130, but it was an error seen in the UI for scrobbling, so referencing the bug here for informational purposes.
Information from Last.fm - QA Squeezebox Radio The Squeezebox Radio doesn’t scrobble. When you turn the setting on, every time you return to the menu, the setting has popped itself off again. The QA for this unit is daniel@last.fm Squeezebox Touch 1) set up account on Squeezebox site - all ok 2) Squeezebox the does not recgonise my account name or email from step 1 above 3) I cannot add last.fm as an app due to not recognising me 4) Perform factory reset and start again = same issues 5) Create new account on Squeezebox, same issues happen 6) Now the squeezebox thinks i am german and dutch and keeps defaulting to that language, and still won't recognise my accounts The QA for this unit is chrisr@last.fm
FWIW, the description in comment #6 has nothing to do with what's described initially in this bug. scrobbling settings UI on Radio and Touch have been tested extensively with up-to-date 7.5 firmware and 7.5 SBS software, and no issue has been found. Please include firmware revisions in bug descriptions, and split multiple issues into multiple bugs where possible. What's described in comment#6 needs a separate bug report.
Closing resolved bugs - if you feel this bug still exists please first re-test with the latest SW/FW version. If you are able to reproduce then feel free to reopen and attach new logs / steps to reproduce.
