Description Sarah Waldmann 2009-11-17 08:46:48 UTC
Last.fm brought this to our attention on a bug from a Last.fm user. They posted it on their forum.

**************************************************************************

was just about to do that...
I borrowed a hub to reconfigure my home network to see all traffic to/from my Boom, and downloaded WireShark.

Then I tried one more time to figure out what might be wrong with the squeezenetwork (SN) settings for my Boom/player. I created another account with Last.fm, and opened the SN web interface for Last.fm plugin setup. I expected to see now my two accounts under the tab that authorizes scrobbling per player. But there was just my first one. So, I guessed that the SN assumed that my player/Boom had the name of my last.fm username. I renamed it from the default name "Squeezbox" to my lastfm username, and scrobbling started working! I am wondering if Logitech is aware of that bug in their SN software.

Thank you for your prompt attention to my problem.
