Description knarf 2009-11-11 12:02:58 UTC
I am just trying to setup a new controller (7.4.1r7915). So I have to go through the setup. It asks me for language, network, squeezenetwork account... which works o.k. Then it scans for players but won't find my SB3 (I do not have a receiver). The only option I have is "Set Up Receiver", which is obviously useless since I do not have a receiver only a SB3. Nevertheless, if I klick on "Set Up Receiver" I get a new screen telling me I should press the button on the receiver (which I do not have!). At least there is the option "Skip this step" but it just does nothing. I am stuck. I can go all the way back but can never get out of the setup and I cannot finish setup because this one step does not work. That means the controller is absolutely useless. May be I miss something, but why can't I just end setup, get some normal menus and do setup from there? I know how to re-setup a controller once it was used and now has to move to another network etc. It just seems to be this initial setup which blocks everything.

This seems to have gotten fixed in the 7.5.0 build we're currently testing.
