Description Berni Lowe 2005-05-07 02:36:41 UTC
Clean install of Slimserver 6.1.0 2005.15.07 nightly build
Windows XP Pro
SB2 with firmware 12
No moodlogic installed on system.
Musicmagic installed on system but not running.
Neither plugin ticked in Plugins section of Slimserver web interface.

Start slim.exe by double-clicking on slim.exe in server folder.

After a few seconds this series of messages comes up in DOS box running
slim.exe:

MoodLogic Error Event triggered: 'MixerError',11000

that is bizarre. are you certain you dont' have moodlogic installed, or ever
installed? those errors come from the moodlogic OLE object, not slimserver.
Comment 2 Berni Lowe 2005-05-07 05:12:13 UTC
Moodlogic had been installed and uninstalled using its own uninstaller. The
Moodlogic folder had not been deleted from the Program Files folder.
Within the Moodlogic folder was a folder containing the Moodlogic Mixer dll.
I presume Slimserver had identified this - hence the errors.
Having deleted the moodlogic folder and restarted slim.exe there are no
further moodlogic errors.

Many thanks

good to hear. I'll remember to suggest that if it comes up with anyone else.
marking as resolved. cc'ing KP in case this info is useful for the call centre
as well.

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
