Bugzilla – Bug 15063
Artwork scan failed resulting in no cover art on Now Playing, playlist screens
Last modified: 2009-11-06 12:25:48 UTC
I finally got TinySC to successfully scan my USB hard drive after putting it on a powered USB hub and deleting all of the previously failed instances of temporary TinySC databases that had piled up on my hard drive -- resulting in a full disk. Afterwards, I was checking my scanner.log file and it had the following: [09-11-06 11:52:53.2521] Slim::Music::Artwork::precacheAllArtwork (485) Starting precacheArtwork for 356 albums [09-11-06 11:52:55.8604] Slim::Music::Artwork::precacheAllArtwork (564) gdresize failed with exit code 2 There were 356 lines of the second line above. My music folder is organized as follows: /Music/(artist)/(album name)/(album tracks) For example, I'll have cover art for an album at path /Music/Vangelis/Direct/folder.jpg. I'll attach a cover art file that I know does not display. Running 7.5.0 firmware r8023.
Created attachment 6279 [details] Cover art JPEG file
Oops ... forgot to describe what I see on Fab4 -- no cover art on Now Playing, playlist, listing of album tracks screens. It's probably everywhere, since the artwork scan failed on every one of them. I don't think I have any cover art embedded with tracks in any of my MP3 or flac tracks.
I don't want TinySC bugs filed yet!
