Bugzilla – Bug 15053
#slim:noscan=1 makes a stream not playable
Last modified: 2011-05-23 09:11:06 UTC
Having #slim:noscan=1 in a radio URL makes it not playable via SBS. My ISP hosts private streams which is why I need to use this extra tag. Since having the tag means not being able to connect from SBS, I can't share the same presets, favourites and podcast lists across SBS and mysqueezebox.com See http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70939 for a background. So, can SBS strip out the #slim:noscan=1 from a URL? Ideally, when saving a preset/favourite, it should save the URL with the tag if it was there originally, though this may not be as simple.
Andy notes SN strips out that part of the URL and SbS doesn't, so maybe that makes it fail.
7.4.x milestone is in the past
Created attachment 7289 [details] remove #slim:* from urls Could it be as simple as removing #slim:* from urls, even on SBS?
== Auto-comment from SVN commit #32442 to the slim repo by mherger == == http://svn.slimdevices.com/slim?view=revision&revision=32442 == Bug: 15053 Description: remove #slim:* from radio urls in SBS too
I consider this fixed. Should be available in the next nightly build.
