Description mftech 2009-11-04 14:32:44 UTC
I suggest to add the replay gain information in the player UI.
A switch to turn ON-OFF the replay gain will be useful too.
This feature may need to stop-start the player.

It may be a duplicate, I did a quick search and didn't find any similar feature.

It's called 'volume adjustment' in the song information. It can be turned on and off in server settings -> player settings -> audio.

Hi Chris, please don't close this feature request.
I know that the replaygain settings are available in the player settings.
My suggestion is to expose the replaygain status and value in the player UI when the replay gain is ON and if possible provide a control to turn OFF the Replaygain inside the player UI.

Thanks for your understanding.

You may take a look at Foobar2000:

-Track Gain
-Track Peak
-Album Gain
-Albulm Peak

values are exposed, minimally having Track and Albulm Gain will be useful.

Can anyone confirm that currently RG values are preferred over soundcheck values when RG values exist in versions > 7.4. In the forums this seems to be assumed now, but I can't see where anyone ever confirmed that this change was made. Thanks.

Sorry, wrong bug, but I can't see how to delete my comment.
