Description Mickey Gee 2009-11-04 14:10:17 UTC
On a 7.5.0 r8005 firmware, I did a factory reset (held down button at rear of unit), initial setup, and then enabled SSH with the Remote Login screen. That screen displayed an IP address of 169.254.111.225.

It didn't look right, so when I went to the Diagnostics screen it said the IP address was 172.19.120.234. That's the correct one.

I can enable/disable SSH and the Remote Login screen still displays the same incorrect IP address.

If I press the rear button momentarily, the IP address displayed is correct.

I had a USB drive plugged into the back of the Touch unit during this. Not sure how this affects this issue.

FYI, 169.254.0.0/16 are autoconf addresses.

Felix to check the code to see if there's a way this might happen. Mickey notes this is all wireless.
