Description Dan Evans 2009-11-02 10:19:09 UTC
With 7.4 the ability to save a favorite was removed when going RIGHT from the Now Playing screen. What's there now is the "More Info" context menu. Specifically I'm referring to when playing a radio station.

Our documentation mentions the ability to "Go right to add to favorites" in several places. This needs to be added back.

I recommend it's made an option from the Context menu.

(and yes I know you can go right from the station entry in the menus. my request stands.)

Dan, I'm pretty sure this works in 7.5.0. I tested against my 7.5.0 with Now Playing->Some Radio Station, and I see a 'save to favorites' item when going right from the NP screen. Tested the item and it works.

Can you test against current 7.5.0 SBS and reopen as necessary?
Comment 2 Dan Evans 2009-11-04 12:20:12 UTC
Ben, Thanks yes ... I do see that option while connected to SBS 7.5.

_However_

I do not see this option while connected to mySB.com-- either Production, or Test. Do I open a separate bug for SN?

Changing product and reopening bug based on latest comments

This issue also exists in Squeezeplay devices.

I.E. I can't save RadioTime stations to Favorites. I only get the following options:

Remove from playlist
Titel:
More info
On last.fm, On Napster, etc.

Is there a seperate bug for Squeezeplay devices or does this fall under this bug as well?

I believe this bug to be incorrectly assigned.
