In the Windows Home Server version of Squeezebox Server, under the Windows Home Server Console -> Settings-> Squeezebox section there is a check box under the Status tab that is labeled;

Start Squeezebox Server when system boots.

Upon installation this check box is not selected.

Selecting this check box however really does not select it.

The Squeezebox Service stays in a non automatic state and Squeezebox Server will not be running upon a reboot of the Windows Home Server box.

This was tested on an HP Mediasmart EX495 with the latest software updates applied.

This appears to work for me with the 7.4.1. Please uninstall your current version, deleting any preference files.

Then download and install 7.4.1 Windows Home Server edition, from here: http://mysqueezebox.com/download

If you are still able to replicate the error after then, attach the server log to this bug and reopen it.
