Description Jens Boettiger 2009-11-01 01:53:16 UTC
With a Digitally Imported (DI.fm)/ SKY.FM premium account, the DI+SKY app in mysqueezebox.com doesn't work.

When you try to access the avialbale channels of these services, e.g. Chillout, Trance, 80's, Jazz..., you get an message on screen (with remote controll) or on display on SB/Transporter:
"Error: No items found in playlist".

If you use the plugins without a premium account, all channels works fine.

The used account works well if you use the direct link to the channel in Favorites.

In a separate case, there's a customer who can successfully listen to Sky.fm channels while connected to SBS, but then they fail when he's connected to mySB.com. (090921-003012)

Its possible to play the di.fm premium channels when connected to mysqueezebox.com when using the "my favorites" menu. Here you can add your favorite (or all 50) di.fm premium channels by using the following link:

http://www.di.fm/listen/techno/premium.pls?user=USERNAME&pass=PASSWORD

Replace "USERNAME" for your real username, do the same with "PASSWORD"

The URL format changed a while back, it is now something like:
http://72.26.216.106:80/electrohouse_hi?XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I am unsure how they encrypt the login/password together but an easy solution to get this plugin working, would be to ask to the user to enter his encrypted string rather than user/password.

Just my 2 cents...

Just used darkman's solution with a sky.fm premium station, added it to my favorites in mysqueezbox.com, and it works fine. Thanks, darkman!!!

As of February 1st, this is still a problem. I'm unable to enjoy my DI.fm and Sky.fm 256k premium streams when my Squeezebox Boom is connected to mysqueezebox.com and using the "My Apps" DI.FM and/or SKY.FM. I have to manually add the streams to my favorites. A royal pain since there are so many premium streams. If my Squeezebox Boom is connected to Squeezebox Server, My Apps DI.FM and SKY.FM connect to the 256k premium streams perfectly. This has been a problem for many months now, according to the multiple threads I've found around the internet. Please fix this issue already! Thank you!

This problem should really be fixed asap. I made a 2-year subscription to DI+FM to listen to them on my home stereo via the squeezebox, only to find out that the music I could listen to for free, I cannot listen to as a paying subscriber!! Come on!!! PLEASE do something about this...

This is fixed. Only one station appeared to be broken because it was removed (Sky.fm Modern Jazz). We've also added a few new stations.
Comment 8 Rick 2010-02-24 10:04:23 UTC
Hi...

While all of the stations area now showing on the SKY FM app menu (Duet SBC)going through MySqueezebox.com, when I tried to connect to any of them through MySqueezebox.com on the Duet, I get a "403 Forbidden" error message. So, I'm still having to use the workaround (put the URL into My Favorites) in order to listen to the SKY FM premium stations.

Connecting through SqueezeCenter is still working fine--absolutely no problems.

Any advice, Andy?

Try deleting and re-adding your account info on mysqueezebox.com, does it work or report an error?
Comment 10 Rick 2010-02-24 11:16:52 UTC
Same result, Andy---so sorry. I uninstalled the app in MSB.com, verified that it was not showing up in My Apps, then reinstalled it. Even logged out completely out of MSB.com after uninstalling the app and powered off the Controller (but not the receiver) before reinstalling the app.

Get all the station names through MSB.com, but when I try to connect to any of them, I get the "403 Forbidden" error message. Still works perfectly through SqueezeCenter.
Comment 11 Rick 2010-02-24 11:31:06 UTC
Andy...one further question...I forgot to mention that I had also deleted my name and email address from my MSB account info and then just re-entered them and saved. Should I have done something more?
Comment 12 Andy Grundman 2010-02-24 11:34:27 UTC
I meant removing your DI.fm account info and re-entering it.
Comment 13 Rick 2010-02-24 11:48:25 UTC
Since they're sisters, I'm assuming DI FM and SKY FM are functionally the same (I'm only listen to SKY FM). I went into my account info on the SKY FM site and deleted, re-entered, and saved my user name and email address (did not change password, though).

Still getting the 403 error when trying to connect to any SKY FM station through MSB.com.
Comment 14 Coume 2010-02-24 11:55:53 UTC
Andy,

I also removed my DI.fm info (login/pass), disabled the DI.fm app.
Reinstalled it, Re-entered my DI.fm login and password and I still get the 403 error too...

Thanks
Ludo

Andy...

Don't know if it makes a difference, but I've got a SKY FM premium account.
Comment 16 Manny S. 2010-02-24 12:13:44 UTC
I followed Andy's instructions and I'm also getting "403 Forbidden" with my premium DI.FM account....
Comment 17 Andy Grundman 2010-02-24 14:26:15 UTC
OK I see the issue, sorry about that, working on it.

Great, sorry for the problems with this one. The change is still rolling out so if you don't see it yet, give it an hour or two.
Comment 21 Rick 2010-02-24 18:48:38 UTC
You are a gentleman AND scholar, sir. It has, at the least, rolled out to the state of Washington. Thanks again.
Comment 22 Manny S. 2010-02-24 19:11:19 UTC
Great job Andy. My Squeezebox Boom is finally complete. Think I'll go out tomorrow and buy a Squeezebox Radio now that this has been fixed. :D
Comment 23 Coume 2010-02-24 22:27:13 UTC
Work both with DI.fm and SKY.fm, perfect.

Thanks Andy
