Bugzilla – Bug 14985
can't see playlist item names in 7.4.0 - 7.4.1
Last modified: 2009-10-29 09:29:00 UTC
Created attachment 6237 [details] m3u playlist which had problems with 7.4.x Since moving to 7.4.0 on Centos5, it seems .m3u playlists I have which are basically lists of streaming radio stations don't provide the name of the station when you choose to browse a playlist. If I click on a stream it then updates the playlist name (I assume collecting from the tags in the stream), but not after a squeezeboxserver reset. If I modify 1 name entry in the playlist via squeezeboxserver and save, then all the other extensions are deleted (luckily I had a backup), but the entry I added is visible and works ok. The original entries in the file look identical to before, no hidden characters. Here's a sample if the .m3u file by downgrading to 7.3.3 the playlists function again as normal. As such the problem has been isolated to 7.4.0 and 7.4.1 I've attached a sample playlist which had problems, but works fine when downgrading to 7.3.3 The problem is not with permissions, I even tried to change the owner and group to squeezeboxserver in case it was a permissions problem.
