Sometimes I get two separate album listings for just one album if one track contains a disc-nr. tag as opposed to all other tracks which do not have the tag.

Once I harmonize all the album's files, i.e. either delete the disc-nr. tag from all files or add it to all (in case of a multiple disc album), the library still shows 2 separate albums.

The same goes for capital/small letter spelling for any tag: Once harmonized or corrected, the library still shows the old capitalization.

My workaround in such cases always required pushing the corrected files to a blind directory, do a scan, moving the files back and do a second scan.

How silly is this?

Or: how silly am I?
