Bugzilla – Bug 14951
Unicode search in Web UI broken
Last modified: 2011-05-13 08:33:05 UTC
Created attachment 6215 [details] This is the search request as entered in the search form Whenever I try to use a search in Web UI, using unicode (cyrillic), I get an empty result page with original search string scrambled. I have attached two images; one showing how the search request look like (this is a ligitimate artist name, present in the database), and the other one - the empty search results screen with corrupted search string. The current SBS version was installed after a complete uninstall of 7.3.4. In 7.3.4 this used to work correctly. I'm using IE8. Here is my server info: Version: 7.4.2 - r29001 @ Sun Oct 25 06:02:26 PDT 2009 Hostname: yuly-home-new Server IP Address: 192.168.11.6 Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Windows Server 2003 - EN - cp1251 Platform Architecture: 586 Perl Version: 5.10.0 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt Total Players Recognized: 3
