Bugzilla – Bug 14893
No audio when sync'd to another player
Last modified: 2010-04-08 17:24:59 UTC
When I sync squeezeplay to another player, or sync another player to squeezeplay, there is no audio output. The UI appears to by synchronized. This behavior occurs both on Squeezeplay on WXP and on the controller when audio is turned on and the controller used as a player though the headphone jack.
I got a similar problem. I use duet and Vista 64 PC with Squeezeplay. Works well if used NON SYNC. Soon as I select to SYNC the audio on the PC mute but the duet plays it. Optical the Sync controlling seams to work, using either the Squeezeplay controls or the Squeeze remote Controller. No matter how I choose SYNC the PC mutes as soon as I choose SYNC.
We have the same problem. We wanted to have a multi-office jukebox, with everything synchronized, but this is completely stopping us. Easily reproduced with two instances of Squeezeplay running. Sync them, lose audio. Also happens on Windows 7 x64.
I do not know why it would affect the Controller (although one cannot sync properly with the controller anyway) but I found a bug that would affect Windows and OSX desktop versions.
Fixed in 7.5.0 r8662
Works perfectly now! Thanks a million!
