This should be an easy fix, just change path to be the proper one
Comment 4 Michael Herger 2009-11-19 08:46:12 UTC
James - do you have simple steps to reproduce this? When do you delete the file? I still don't understand the issue as I don't know any way to get the update offered if it doesn't exist.
Comment 5 James Richardson 2009-11-19 09:01:43 UTC
Windows Vista SP 1
1) Stop SBS 7.4.0
2) Navigate to the //cache directory
3) Delete the 'updates' directory
4) Start SBS 7.4.0
5) Notice that 'updates' directory is either a) not created or b) if it is created no .bin files are downloaded
6) View the server.log file, notice the following errors
Comment 6 Michael Herger 2009-11-19 09:49:21 UTC
James - this doesn't make sense. When you install SBS from scratch, there never is such a folder. It's been created at every start if it doesn't exist. Just tested this here, working fine on OSX and XP.

Can you reproduce this with 7.4.1?
Comment 7 James Richardson 2009-11-19 09:52:30 UTC
I am unable to replicate this with 7.4.1
