WMA file where scanner in 7.4.x reports invalid ASF header

Whenever I scan my music collection, I get a LOT of errors in both the server
and scanner log. All errors are related to scanning of WMA files (example
attached; Bruce forgive me for breaking the copyright).

For the attached file the scanner log displays:
3749: [09-10-20 21:16:09.2495] Slim::Utils::Scanner::scanDirectory (357) ERROR
SCANNING /share/Music/Bruce Springsteen/Devils & Dust/09 - Leah.wma: Unable to
read tags from file
3748: [09-10-20 21:16:09.2155] Slim::Utils::Scanner::scanDirectory (333)
Scanning: /share/Music/Bruce Springsteen/Devils & Dust/09 - Leah.wma

And the server log displays:
27134: Invalid ASF header: /share/Music/Bruce Springsteen/Devils & Dust/09 -
Leah.wma

As a result, the music is not added to the library and hence can not be browsed
through for instance artist or/and album.

The SS software is running on a NAS (QNAP TS-409) and I have tried both 7.4.0
and the latest nightly (currently running version 7.4.1-28913.

Scanning of that file works on my system, so I suspect there is a problem with this code on your particular architecture. You said you're running the latest nightly, are you using one of our packages with our ARM modules?

"You said you're running the latest nightly, are you using one of our packages with our ARM modules"

Since this is on a QNAP NAS the initial install of the 7.4.0 version was using the QPKG package of Flipflips SSODS (or in this case SSOTS since it is a TS-409 ;-), release 4.0-7.4.0.

Since that failed I tried to uograde with the latest nightly - I have tried both versions available, ie both the "ARM only" and the "ARM and a lot more" (knowing that is not the exact phrasing of the file names, but you get the meaning I'm sure)

It could be the platform - just installed a QNAP TS-439 which uses an Intel chip, and installing the Flipflip SS package on this box does not produce the error (ie the scanner does scan my WMA files)

For reference:

Running a QNAP TS-109-Pro (ARM). Used the QPKG from Logitech 4.1-7.4.0. Ran a scan and only MP3s found as per others comments.

Upgraded to 7.4.1-28947 and rescanned - same problem "Invalid ASF Header" in Server Log and "Unable to read tags from file"

QNAP firmware 3.1.0_Build0708

I'm afraid I can't reproduce this. This file scans fine on my ARM test system.
