Description Jim McAtee 2009-10-16 13:44:45 UTC
Uninstalling fails to remove Squeezeplay settings from \Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data. The Windows uninstaller should present an option to the user to remove all settings.

Michael: is this one yours, or Ben's to implement?
Comment 2 Michael Herger 2009-10-16 22:57:27 UTC
IMHO there are two issues:

- SP should be using the same log/pref folder convention as SBS (probably Tom's)
- installer needs to take care of this (me)
- SP should be integrated with SBS anyway (me & Matt's)

Oh, that's three. Whether this is 8.0 or 8.1 - I don't know.

Why should SqueezePlay be integrated with Squeezebox Server? Can't it remain a separate installation, with its own settings location? Integrating the two is almost guaranteed to cause more problems than it will solve.

Nothing's been decided yet. IMHO we could easily have both.

> with its own settings location?

It will. I said the same folders _convention_, not the same folder.
