/sbin/ifconfig eth1: Cannot allocate memory
Last modified: 2010-02-16 22:08:26 UTC
- Baby 7.4.1 r7866 was playing Pandora station while connected to WHS (SBS 7.4.1, 28825) - shut down SBS on WHS to run the update - antenna went blue - trying to access My Apps it stuck on the "Connecting to WHS..." spinny - Diagnostics say: gateway: nil netmask: nil ping mysb.com: failed memory used: 66% but connection to ports on mysb.com: ok - /var/log/messages says: cannot allocate memory for ifconfig and ping etc.

Once I had restarted SBS all went back to fine: no more error messages, ping, gateway & netmask ok memory is down to 62%
Might have been a side effect of memory leaks Alan fixed. Working fine now.
