This may only be happening on Windows: When desktop SqueezePlay is launched, it will connect to a local SbS library only the first time the program is run.  On subsequent runs, if you attempt to enter My Music it spins forever.  It's possible to work around this if you first go through the following:

1. Go to Settings > Choose Player
2. Select a different player
3. Go to Settings > Choose Player
4. Select the desktop SqueezePlay player

Please see KDF's proposed fix in bug 13125 for saving player settings on Windows, which he thinks may also fix the connection problem.

KDF's patch that he checked in yesterday fixed this.
