Description Walker LaRon 2009-10-14 12:56:19 UTC
Ticket 091003-000338
Ubuntu 9.04
Squeezebox Server 7.4

Squeezebox Server will not scan music, or see external drives when on Ubuntu 9.04 when using Squeezebox Server 7.4.

If the user puts in the below commands in terminal, everything works until he reboots.

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 3483 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 3483 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 9000 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 9092 -j ACCEPT

Advised customer this appears to be a problem with the security settings on his computer. Customer is adamant that this worked in previous version.

Please see the attached log.

Thanks,

LaRon

LaRon, what kind of external drive are you talking about here? Is this a USB drive or a NFS volume or what?
