Description Mickey Gee 2009-10-13 09:07:30 UTC
From CNET review: "While we enjoyed stutter-free playback, we did run into some operational glitches. ... We also had the unit spontaneously reboot itself twice during our testing period. It was rare enough during our testing period that it wasn't a deal-breaker, but it happened enough that we hope Logitech makes stability its No. 1 priority for future firmware fixes."

The above clearly doesn't have sufficient detail to allow further analysis. However, I've never seen the above in all of my testing of recent firmware versions. But it would be explained if it's a duplicate of 14489, which occurs only with WMA files. My library at home has zero WMA tracks.

Mickey: is there any way we can contact them to be sure?

Contacting cnet for more info.

Here's the feedback from the Cnet reviewer:

Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what I was listening to when the radio would stop playing audio or reboot. I can at least comment that it did not involve a WMA track, and that I wasn't having any problems with wireless connectivity during these times. The reboot issue actually happened at least once while using a wired

More then likely, this was either bad (MP) firmware, or related to the Memory Leak issue.

Upgrading to 7.4.1 firmware should resolve this issue.

Micky: can we have CNET upgrade to 7.4.1 on Tuesday, then retest?

7.4.x milestone is in the past
