When TP is used as a DAC, it would be interesting to be able to rename the input display according to the sources, so the TP would look more user friendly.
It could be done on the left screen, leaving the original input name on the right screen.

E;G. one could read:
 "SAT" on the left screen, instead of "coax-bnc-S/PIDF" (displayed on both screens, anyway).
 "DVD" on the left (or main) screen when switched to "coax-rca-S/PDIF"
 And so on.

All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform.
We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or
which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
