Description Richard van den Berg 2009-10-10 06:00:09 UTC
With the ability to have multiple alarms on different days, repeating or one time only, it would be really useful to display the next alarm time close to the alarm icon (in a small font) on the status bar. This way it will be clear when you will be woken up, and the user can make adjustments if the alarm time is not the desired wake up time.

The next alarm time really needs to be shown on the radio. On the Digital Clock screensavers, it looks like there is plenty of room under the time, and before the date to put a next alarm time. The alarm indicator could easily move down there too. If screen real estate is an issue, I would prefer next alarm display to date display.

I also would like the next alarm time shown on the display.

It's always a little annoying to switch to the alarm settings just to check if the time was entered correctly.

Matt Weldon isn't available to us any more. Please vote for this bug to make sure it appears in our priority list!

Given that the SB Radio when connected to MSB (especially in Europe )is not always as stable as it should be this would be a very useful feature as you'd know at a glance that the alarm was set correctly (even if it falls back to built-in tune).

The 'UI' component is being removed. This bug is being shifted to the appropriate new component.
Comment 6 Richard van den Berg 2010-08-30 01:40:33 UTC
This bug has 16 votes now. How many more are needed for this to move up on the list of priorities? I am missing this feature every single day.

Well this has definitely caught me out a few times now. In the "old days" of clock radios when you only could set a single alarm time you just needed to know if alarm was on or off. With modern multi-alarm schedules, whilst usefully flexible, it's much easier to make mistakes.

I've got an HTC Android phone which displays the next alarm time when used as a bedside clock. Logitech have to make the SB alarm as good as, or preferably better than, modern products. Some customers could be quite tempted to buy a bedside dock for their phone rather than an SB Radio.
