Description Sue Chastain 2009-10-08 17:43:52 UTC
Was playing synced local MP3 music on Radio, 2 Booms, and one Receiver. The Radio was on battery. When Radio eventually displayed the low battery warning screen, all players in the sync group went to paused. They stayed paused even after plugging in the Radio. Shouldn't the Radio just drop out of the sync group and the other players play on?

Player Model: baby
Firmware: 7.4.0-r7790

Good catch

The idea is to make sure that you notice the low-battery warning. If the sync-group kept playing then there is less likelihood of that.

I guess it might be nice if it unpaused when applying external power.

My opinion is that having just the one Radio stop playing is enough to notice. I'd prefer the other players to continue. Is it really that critical to see the low battery warning? The Radio shuts off anyway.

I agree. I don't see what is so important about one player running out of batteries that should stop every other player playing.
