Description Sue Chastain 2009-10-08 17:38:48 UTC
On Squeezebox Radio, I have digital clock (transparent) as my while playing screen saver. If I pause my music for a long-ish time (5-10 minutes) and then resume it, the clock screen saver never comes back until I power off and back on. Short pauses are fine. It's happened often but I'm not sure if it's doing it all the time. I know it has happened while running on battery. Not sure if it has happened while on power. I'll add a comment if I notice it happening on power.

I first noticed this with Erland's custom clock set as the screensaver, but it is repeatable with the standard clock as screen saver.

Player Model: baby
Firmware: 7.4.0-r7790

Sue: new firmware for Radio & 7.4.1 has been posted. Could you please re-try this with 7.4.1 r7837. Do you still see the same behavior?

Tom: this appears to be a SP error. What I observed is:

while paused, SS does not engage, instead screen is pushed to NP
After pause, SS does not re-engage, NP is still showing

7.4.x milestone is in the past

Spending a little time with this oh-so-old bug, I'm not seeing it as still being an issue. Reopen if this is still something regularly seen...
