Description Max Spicer 2005-04-29 11:56:00 UTC
It should be possible to send SlimServer a particular UNIX signal (SIGHUP, USR2
etc) to make it close and reopen its log file. This would assist in using
SlimServer with programs such as log rotate that need to inform the server that
its log file has now been moved to prevent it continuing to write to the old
file. Currently, the only solution is to stop and restart SlimServer, which
interrupts playback unnecessarily.

Fixed in change 24754, USR1 will recreate server.log. Not needed for scanner.log.
