Bugzilla – Bug 14663
Directory scan fails
Last modified: 2010-02-17 09:48:12 UTC
Created attachment 6067 [details] Mp3 that causes scan to fail on my setup every time. I started a thread on the slimdevices forum and was advised to open a bug report here (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69396). What I've noticed is that every time I attempt a scan with a particular artist in my music directory the scan fails just after reading an mp3 from that artist. I tested this by removing all files from the artist and running a scan which succeeds. I then added one file that was mentioned in the logs into the root directory of my music folder and re-scan which fails. Removed the file and re-scanned again and it again succeeds. I've attached the file I used for testing. I had no problems scanning or playing any of these files with versions up to and including 7.3.3 so this problem is new to version 7.4 Here's my setup in brief... Server HTTP Port Number: 9000 Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux Perl Version: 5.8.8 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi MySQL Version: 5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.4 Total Players Recognized: 1
I too have the same problem. This time it's the readynas sparc 7.4.1 plugin: SqueezeboxServer_7.4.1-sparc-readynas.bin

This file scans OK for me, this bug was possibly fixed already.
