After upgrading from 7.33 AlienBBC loads and programs are visable but will not play at all. Live strearms through Alienbbc will not work.

Iplayer is working
Links through staff pics to bbcradio4 work
 
Mplayer tests OK.  
Nod32 access to mplayer allowed.

Same issue with 7.41

Downgraded to 7.33 all works again

AlienBBC is being phased out for BBC feeds with the BBCiPlayer plugin being preferred.  Bryan is working on an update to Alien for the use of the Real Audio feeds, but at present not all feeds will work with Alien and you will need to use AlienBBC 2.6b1 for 7.4.  (Note that as well as you chaning to 7.4, the BBC have withdrawn the Real Audio feeds for many programs)

Please do a search for AlienBBC 2.6b1 on the Forums.

I'm closing this as its an issue for the Alien team to deal with.  (To avoid confusion I will remove Alien from the recommended downloads for the moment)
