Bugzilla – Bug 14624
MySB, not possible to set 24-hour clock for alarms on Receiver
Last modified: 2010-04-08 17:25:17 UTC
Currently it seems not possible to set the player alarm clock display to show 24-hour time. This is most awkward, for some of us Europeans (if not for most of the world except USA/Canada). On the physical players it is possible (at least the Duet controller) but not in MySB. We need a setting for this.
This is a SqueezePlay issue only. IP3K is working fine, as there is a Player > Tab to set Display. SP is missing this tab Boom, working Classic, working Transporter, working
Which player clock are you talking about? Classic? Radio? Boom?
Created attachment 6045 [details] Pic of the MySB interface for the Duet player alarms tab Note that: * Alarms can only be set in AM/PM time * There is no "Display" tab to change to 24-hour clock
Not fixed in 7.4.1. Maybe that release did not affect MySB at all, but the problem/issue/bug is still there. On MySB, the alarm clock time for the Squeezebox Receiver cannot be set in 24-hour time format.
Setting clock time format for Boom does not work from: MySB.com-->MyPlayer-->DisplayTAB-->TimeFormat. Just for clarification, the setting change correctly if I set it directly on the device. Please note that there is a diffenet issue concerning the ALARM clock setting. It seems that the alarm setting page on MySB.com shows only AM/PM time, but this is minor for me. The main bug concerns the clock time format as shown on Boom.
Ok, now I see the issue: you can't change the format for a SB Receiver. As it doesn't have a display and the time format is associated with the display, there's no way to change this.
small correction: as James said, this can happen to SP based players (Radio/Touch) too. Any player which doesn't have display setting.
== Auto-comment from SVN commit #7757 to the network repo by michael == == https://svn.slimdevices.com/network?view=revision&revision=7757 == Bug: 14624 +2 Description: add time format to user's account settings. User this time format as default whenever a player setting is missing, or on players where there is no timeformat setting (Receiver/Touch/Radio). Still need to update the DB schema on mysb.com
This bug has been marked fixed in a released version of Squeezebox Server or the accompanying firmware or mysqueezebox.com release. If you are still seeing this issue, please let us know!
