Description: do not only check for Vista, but any Windows major version 6 or greater (Vista, 2008 Server, 7...). Needs testing and backporting to 7.4

Fixed Bug: 14590 +1
Description: do not only check for Vista, but any Windows major version 6 or greater (Vista, 2008 Server, 7...). Backport from 7.5 after successful testing on Windows 7
