Hi again Laura,

I've done a bit more investigation and it definitely appears we have some problems with the new implementation. The main thing that seems to be happening is the trial is not being set up properly when going through the device to do that - I've verified that it shows up as expired right away. And then the messaging on the device says to go to our site to set up an account and then return to the device to enter the account info, but I was unable to find a way to do that.

I've got our developers looking at it from our end to diagnose what we can. Can you put us in touch with someone on your end who we can work with? (Back when we first were getting setup on the Squeezebox, it was just one of our guys working directly with Andy, but Doug is no longer here, so...)

I've also included some of the testing steps I've tried below, in case that's helpful.

(I'll be out of the office on Monday - but let's please touch base when I'm back on Tuesday - we definitely want to keep Squeezebox users who want the locker happy.)

Thanks,
Mark

Results:

test 1:

1. reset the boom to factory default
2. created new mysqueezebox account on site
3. entered msb account info on boom
4. opted for free trial of MP3tunes on boom menu
5. result: Trial Expired message
6. Checked our console - new free locker appeared in our system, but no Logi trial service

test 2:
1. reset the boom to factory default
2. created new mysqueezebox account with boom menu
3. opted for free trial of MP3tunes on boom menu
4. result: Trial Expired message
5. Checked our console - new free locker appeared in our system, but no Logi trial service

test 3:
1. reset the boom to factory default
2. logged into existing msb account (used for test1) that had no device
3. checked MP3tunes - said expired
4. boom says go to our site to sign up for an account, "then log in here" but there seems to be no way to get to login
5. entered info for existing locker on msb site - page refreshes showing still expired, but I checked the Player Settings tab, and it seemed to be enabled
6. tested boom - still encounter expired message

test 4:
1. reset the boom to factory default
2. created new mysqueezebox account on site
3. entered msb account info on boom
4. entered an existing free account (t1201a@tunesqa.com) using the boom remote
5. Result on boom: There was an error logging in: Login failed
(Note: unlike the other menus I've seen for logging in or created a msb account, the menu only displayed upper case characters, which may part of the problem?)

test 5:
1. reset the boom to factory default
2. created new mysqueezebox account on site
3. entered msb account info on boom
4. entered an existing free account (t0213i@tunesqa.com) on msb site
5. successfully played music from locker on boom
