Description vagskal 2009-10-03 10:26:13 UTC
In the plugin tab in the web UI, if you press on settings for a plugin the settings page is shown in the plugin tab, not the advanced tab where the settings reside. This behaviour makes it difficult for the user to switch back to the plugin tab/page.

SBS 7.4.1 r28740 on Win WP and using Google Chrome 3.0.195.24.

Confirmed this happens in with 7.4.x with default skin

let's consider this for the new skin. It's been that way for almost two years now. No need to rush a solution.

How about just making the plugin tab heading clickable (loading the list of plugins) also when it is active? That way a user who in that tab has clicked on the settings for a plugin could in an intuitive way get back to the list of plugins.

If deemed necessary for consistency all tab headings could be clickable also when they are active reloading the page which loads when the tab is not active.
