Description mathew.soon 2009-10-01 19:02:41 UTC
After upgrade to 7.4.1, all doublebyte (Asian characters like Chinese and Japanese) appear as junk and unreadable characters on the Squeezebox3.

On the SBS7.4.1 server itself (after log in), I could display all ok from the server itself.

The firmware for the SB3 is 130. Infrant is the latest firmware as well.

BTW, I've tested the Beta versions of 7.4.x before and the same happens.

Have removed Squeeze server and clear the DB.
Reinstalled 7.4.1 and clear the DB again.
Now rescanning. Apparently, song names and album names are ok and showing chinese characters properly.

However, under "Music Folder", it is still showing unreadable characters.
