Description Kim Kruse Petersen 2009-10-01 11:43:01 UTC
I have upgraded to SBC 7.4.0 and 7.4.1. The Transporter will not play 24 bit 96kHZ. It is playing showing time on display, but no sound on digital outputs.

Kim what file format is your source? WAV or FLAC for example?
Comment 2 Kim Kruse Petersen 2009-10-01 13:38:43 UTC
Hi,

The file format is FLAC 24bit/96kHz.

Kim

I have tested coaxial, a Transporter with firmware 80 connected to a ReadyNAS Duo with 7.4.1 and have had no trouble playing back both a 24/96 wav and 24/96 flac.

Perhaps your Transporter has been left in an odd state after the firmware update.

Please try reprogramming the Xilinx. To do this from the ir remote hold down the power button until the transporter resets. The moment it is resetting let go of the power button and hold down the number one button until "Programming Xilinx" appears on the screen.

Did this work for you?

Sorry, that should have read I tested coaxial, optical and balanced digital out without issue.
