This is a little bit of a wish, and they say they will never come true unless you ask :)

I've written ProntoSqueeze (www.prontoprojects.com) for controlling SqueezeCenter via the Philips Prontos. One of the features I've had since day one is clicking on the artist name, album name, or genre would play all the music from that artist, album or genre.

However of course as soon as you do that it clears the playlist. So what would be neat is the ability to just clear the playlist but keep the current song playing. Then of course you can add new tracks to that playlist.

I was trying to figure out how I could do it now using what tools are at hand and it would be pretty intensive having to delete each track in the playlist 1 at a time.

So thought of how it might work.

playlist clear trackno 

where trackno is the one you want to keep.
