Description Dan Evans 2009-09-29 17:27:01 UTC
I don't know what to make of this.

I came into my office and found my PVT1 Radio on a "Software Update" screen that only included a Help menu. Diagnostics reported it was happily on a WiFi, could talk successfully to mySB.com, but... it was connected to my 7.3.3 laptop. (!!!)

I held LEFT for 5 seconds and got to the Home menu, selected My Music and I could successfully browse the 7.3.3 library and play music. Viewing SqueezeCenter on the laptop it displayed the SB Radio and I could control it.

What the heck? I thought this was impossible?

Dan: Please show me this setup, as I am unable to reproduce the same error.

When connecting the SB Radio to a 7.3.3 server, I get the Help Dialog, telling me to update the server

Wait...I think I see what you mean now...if you Long Hold left, to break out of the help dialog then you can access and browse 7.3.3 just fine.

Reopening and marking for bug meeting

As long as you get the error message on initial connection and when you long-hold the back button you get to a menu with 'settings' then this is okay.
