I found that audio playback locally through Headphone Jack on Squeezebox Controller is scratchy with frequent interruptions (little breaks of a second or so) when playing music from my collection on a ReadyNAS NV+.  I am running Squeezebox Server 7.4.0 on my ReadyNAS.

The playback remained scratchy even I after I went close to my wi-fi router (Linksys Range Plus WRT110)
