SC stuck on Starting, we could not get the server log file because it was never created. This occurring on 7.3.3,7.3.4 and per QA suggestion we tried 7.4 still no success. 

Windows event viewer shows the following each time SC tries to start

interpreter failed

The last line shows a problem with Perl.

Does the customer have Active Perl or MySQL on this system for any reason? Any glaring problems in event viewer log that might have something to do with this?

Run squeezecenter.exe from the command line to see its full output.

And update to the latest official release :-).

Also: what antivirus is this customer using?

According to the customer he dose have any antivirus on the machine he removed it.
We will check on the other two inquiries

asked customer in RN ticket to see if 7.4 has fixed his issue. 

Waiting on customer to get back to me.

Closing ticket as customer has not gotten back to us. 

Will re open if he gets back to us and is still having this issue.
