Booting baby takes about 40 seconds on my PB1, but I only have to hold the power button for ~2 seconds to shut it down. I think it should require the power button to be held longer, maybe 5 seconds, before shutting down since starting it back up is relatively slow.

Also see bug 15933 -- for users whose off screensaver is a blank screen, this bug makes it easy to miss alarms, as Radio currently (r8553, SBS 7.4.3 r30395) does not wake up for alarms if manually shut down.

Update:

The current hold time for a complete shutdown is just the regular button hold time so it cannot simply be increased as that would increase it for all buttons.

We need to find a solution that only affects the power button something similar to what we have for long left / back I guess.
