Bugzilla – Bug 14343
Pressing Mute button doesn't mute audio volume for very long
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:37:40 UTC
Pressing Mute button doesn't keep audio muted for no more than 1 second. Press immediately after a track starts. Seen on Staff Picks Miles Davis, Pandora, and local flac track. On battery-only Baby PVT2 with firmware 7784.
I cannot reproduce this with firmware 7779 or 7784. You say you have to hit pause "immediately after a track starts"? Can you hit play and then hit pause? Or do you have to hit it so immediately that you have to wait for the next song to begin playing? If you wait 5 seconds is it okay? 10? Please give a bit more info. Thanks.
Unable to repro with same Baby firmware and SbS from Sept 27. Not sure why.
Mark reports he sees this with 7790. Tom notes there was an SC component. Mark will update SC and have a look.
Mark mentioned on cf that this works for him now after an SC update.
