Description Pat Ransil 2009-09-25 07:58:02 UTC
Baby, PVT2 on battery, no AC. Left on, muted overnight. In the morning it had shut down. Tried to turn on, could not. Holding down power brings up logo after 4 sec, goes away when released. This sounds like normal behavior.

Plugged in AC, still won't turn on. Hold down power, logo shows after 4 sec, goes away when released.

firmware version r7745

Pat - I've seen similar behaviour too. Holding the power button for 25-30 seconds would eventually bring it up

Chris left his on overnight but did not see the same problem. His booted up fine after plugging in AC.

upgraded to r7757, ran overnight, was off in morning.
held pwr 15 sec - logo went away
held pwr 20 sec - booted
wireless red, no music
navigated around, knob responsiveness was uneven - sometimes very slow, sometimes OK. Occasionally screen transitions paused with screen partially done

"Please charge me" came on after 5 min, lasted for 1min 45 sec before going dead.

Plugged in AC, unit came on without pressing power.

Wireless icon white, music plays. All seems OK except that the progress meter was not on screen. Went back to Home, NP, hit some combination of Play, More, knob push and progress meter appeared.

I have tried this a couple times with our released version and I don't see the problem.
