Description Christian Pernegger 2005-04-24 11:37:25 UTC
This afternoon I had a longer playlist running, and after a while a family
member just turned the volume down on the amp, so I can't say when this happened
exactly. Anyway, when I turned the volume back up just now - no sound. Upon
checking the display I noticed it had frozen completely on the "now playing"
screen. No buttons on the remote had any effect, including long-poweroff.
Interestingly, the server had not crashed, it was running fine, with no messages
in the log. Nothing I did on the server interface had any effect, not even
stopping the process.
In other words, something on the sb2 itself had utterly crashed. I had to pull
the plug on it.

Christian, thanks for the report. Has this happened again? If so, was there any pattern you can
discern?
Comment 2 Christian Pernegger 2005-06-08 05:26:19 UTC
Not recently, no. If the bug's still there it's a sleeper.
