Description Mickey Gee 2009-09-21 21:46:50 UTC
Running firmware r7679 on a PVT2 battery-only Baby, I was playing a custom Slacker radio station (Mannheim Steamroller Radio). I happened to hit the volume knob to mute the sound 2-3 times in a row very quickly, and that resulted in a few odd things:

- Volume pop-up window titled "nan" showing not muted volume icon
- Infinite loop of displaying two screens sequentially:
    1. Now Playing screen for currently playing Slacker track, and
    2. Connecting to mysqueezebox.com spinny screen.

Battery icon displayed 25% and wireless strength icon was maximum.

Workaround is press the left button when the Now Playing screen is showing

Connected to SN only.

To complete the workaround sentence:

... will break out of the infinite loop into a previous screen.
Comment 2 Mickey Gee 2009-09-21 21:49:47 UTC
Also, no audio is heard while this infinite loop is occurring.

Fixed Bug: 14182
Fixed Bug: 14180
- Handle unmute (self.delta == 0) case (was causing nan error and server disconnect)
- make up volume calculation uses abs values to avoid sporadic incorrect jump to very high volume
- mute command now updates sequence number (otherwise incorrect out of sync was happening)

These are all bugs that have been marked 'fixed' or 'closed' but still have the bug_meeting keyword. They were not showing up in James's bug meeting search.

Please let me know (chris_owens@logitech.com) if these need to be brought up at the next bug meeting. In the meantime I will fix the search.
