Bugzilla – Bug 14170
Demo mode not working properly
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:32:36 UTC
The sound turns off after about 30-40 seconds of playing. It turns back on if you move the volume knob -- and then turns off again after 30-40 seconds. If you don't move the knob, the sounds stays off. It should be staying on indefinitely, and if the volume is turned down, it turns back up after 60 (I think) seconds.
What firmware version is installed?
I'm on 7656 this morning and it's happening.
MP 7525 is what should be loaded for DEMO players. I'll load that onto a device and test this.
Verified 7.4 branch r7671 has this issue. Pressing power button will also bring it back (MCU issue?) Verified MP branch 7252 does NOT have this issue. Please make sure that all units meant for demo go out with the MP firmware (which they should have by default) Richard: Is this your bug to fix in the 7.4 branch? is this valid for 7.4 branch? Your assistance please.
