Description Jim McAtee 2009-09-17 22:25:21 UTC
See bug 13415. There are a few places where sound effects are doubled. I hear it any time the Home button is pressed and any time the Alarm button is pressed, both on the front panel and IR remote.

Found when submitting mysqueezebox.com password at end of setup (post-firmware-upgrade), happens every time.

Alarm button no longer does double sounds. Home doesn't do double sounds, perhaps the new 7.4 sound seems like a double sound to you? regarding registration, when a entry is pressed, a sound occurs, then there is a server delay. If the response take you to home, you also get a home sound, so if the response comes back quickly in such cases there might be a double sound, which I'm not sure is a bad thing in that case.

These bugs have all been marked resolved and belong to a component which is being removed. Therefore they have been moved to the most applicable of the new components.
