Running r7622 firmware on PVT2 unit with low battery, I decided to upgrade the firmware. I see the Software Update screen, select Begin update (version), and then go to a screen titled Charge Battery.

This screen says "Your battery is very low. Please attach AC power (charger or cable) to continue with this software upgrade."

There are two issues:

1. Text is incorrect. No charger with Baby Boom.
2. I plug in the AC cable, press Continue, and it doesn't continue. I'm stuck.

I turned off the Baby and tried again. No change. Probably have to remove the battery and put in AC power to update firmware when this happens.

Works for me with r7790 (release firmware)
